Water Resources Engineer (Job ID: 02092012-WE)

ECE has an immediate job opportunity for an entry to mid-level Water Resources Engineer in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the field of  Stormwater Management. Candidate must be familiar with Stormwater Master Planning, BMPs (Best Management Practices), and hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM.

Responsibilities/Description:

Perform and assist with planning and designing of projects related to water treatment/distribution systems, wastewater treatment/collection systems and stormwater systems.  Develop and complete applications, permits and engineering reports.  Prepare cost estimates.  Utilize GIS and AutoCAD for water and wastewater related projects. Provide construction oversight of engineering projects.   Candidate must have excellent technical writing, organizational and communication skills. Maintain excellent client relations. 

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 5 Years

Relevant project experience may cover areas such as analysis and design of flood control structures, LID (Low Impact Development), green infrastructure study and design, land development, preparation of plans, profiles & cost estimates, field investigations and technical report preparation. Experience using drafting and analysis software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Civil 3D and Excel is necessary.
